Marigondon cave
The Marigondon cave is one of the most popular diving sites in Mactan.
There is often a strong current along the wall between the tides. Once inside, there is no current at all and the bottom of the cave is covered by sand and corals.
The ceiling and the sides of the Marigondon cave are covered with beautiful gorgonians and sea fans. Some pufferfish can be spotted as well.
At the far end of the cavern, there are a few crevices. If you block the light of your torch, by putting it against your chest, you will see fluorescent fishes shoaling inside these crevices.
On the way back after exiting the cave, you will drift along an absolutely gorgeous wall where critters are living on it.
This wall might also be the most beautifull wall around Mactan and Cebu. It is fully covered with many species of colorful soft and hard corals as well as gorgonians and sea fans.

Hilutungan channel
he Hilutungan channel diving site is mainly made of a slopey wall (like on the picture) which is not really vertical and can go down to 50 meters (165 feet) and even more.
The Hilutungan dive site is well-known to scuba divers for its big school of fish, as well as sighting turtles.
The marine sanctuary of the Hilutungan island is well-maintained by the local government which made this diving spot a must to do during your travel in the Cebu province.
The top of the reef starts very shallow, like 2 meters (6 feet) which is perfect for snorkelers, and continue down quite deep on a steep sloped-wall.

Tambuli plain wreck
A good wreck cannot fail to capture the imagination of a diver, this small airplane was placed as an artificial reef, here you will find lion and scorpion fish hiding around the doorways and airframe, and some beautiful frog fish camouflaged against the coral.
This is a great dive site for photographers, in addition to the aircraft itself you will find all manner of small invertebrates occupying the broken up wall, this site is about 25 minutes from base.

San Juan Wreck
Wreck diving is fascinating and challenging. The San Juan ferry in Liloan Bay is no exception. The 60m / 180f long ship sunk in the year 2000 and lies in 50m / 150f of water. The top of the ship is at the edge of the recreational diving limit, at 35m / 115f. This is a deep dive only for very advanced or technical divers!
