Description
From diving at 3 meters (10 feet) to 100 meters (330 feet) on a wreck or for a trimix hypoxic course, there is a lot of dive sites around Mactan and Cebu. And the most beautiful part is that all levels of scuba divers will enjoy diving in Mactan and Cebu as there is so much for every type of dive.
From underwater caverns, freshwater cave diving, shallow shipwrecks to deep penetration technical wrecks diving, Mactan and Cebu are a must to dive.
But there are not only caves and wrecks as a dive sites in Mactan or around Cebu; the marine biodiversity is one of the greatest in all around the Philippines, as Mactan and Cebu are right in the middle of the golden coral's triangle.
Plus, Scotty's Dive Center, do some diving expeditions and dive safaris of 1 full day and more on a regular basis. The purpose is to discover new astonishing diving sites other than the already beautiful sites in Mactan and Cebu.

any time of the year however weather is the best between December and April.
Information about the site
Wreck diving is fascinating and challenging. The San Juan ferry in Liloan Bay is no exception. The 60m / 180f long ship sunk in the year 2000 and lies in 50m / 150f of water. The top of the ship is at the edge of the recreational diving limit, at 35m / 115f. This is a deep dive only for very advanced or technical divers!
